About the Study

There are two kinds of study participants:

  1. “Seeds” who serve as a peer recruiter of participants for our study.
    • Their role is limited to completing an online survey about their demographic characteristics (e.g., date of birth, student/employment status) and drinking practices and consequences and recruiting up to 3 of their peers to participate in the evaluation study. Seed research involvement ends at that point.
  2. “Peer Recruits” who participate in the evaluation study and are followed for 1-year after their initial session.

All study procedures are conducted online, and both seeds and peer recruits are compensated for their time and effort using electronic Amazon gift cards.
